The inspiration for my paintings comes from the passion for the incredible people I have met along my forever evolving journey through life. During my travels around the globe, I have explored tiny, remote villages in Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as extraordinary Castles and Palaces throughout Europe. From diving in the bluest seas and hiking the greenest mountains; from visiting Mosques and Temples, vineyards and museums; from riding camels and horses, elephants and donkeys, my experiences give me a great understanding of texture and color. My travels led me from dirt huts in Asia, to 5-Star resorts with satin sheets, in Paris; to white sandy beaches in Portugal, and luxurious castles in Italy. My paintings reflect my observations of the manufacturing of fine china in Asia, as well as the patterns in the beautiful hand-woven rugs in Croatia. I have incorporated into each piece, the intricate details from the saris in India and the lovely hues and designs from the silk kimonos in Asia.

The fascinating people I met, their unbelievable stories and undeniable determination are forever ingrained in my mind as I capture each vivid memory in my paintings.
